Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

For my sugar lovers, if you are looking for something sweet to eat for breakfast that will LITERALLY taste like heaven in your mouth, then this is the perfect recipe for you to make! I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had any kind of pastry that tasted merely as good as this. I devoured this meal in less than 10 minutes, taking a minute break between each bite just to digest all the sugar! Of course, I don’t recommend this for any diabetic or someone with a low sugar tolerance, or anybody on a diet.

I got the recipe from a fellow blogger, and I’m so glad I bookmarked it because it’s one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in a long time. I’m definitely going to make this again, but not for a while! One because I think I just ate enough sugar for a whole week, and two because it’s a little complicated to make for breakfast, especially if you’re like me who likes small, easy-to-make dishes. Anyways here’s the recipe from the lady I got it from:



  • 1 tbsp. dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour


  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk.
  2. Add all other ingredients & mix well.
  3. Knead into a ball or put in a bread machine on the dough setting.
  4. Let rise until double in size.
  5. When ready, roll out about ¼ inch thick.


  • ¼ cup soft butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar (I only used ½ cup)
  • 3 tbsp. cinnamon


  1. Spread butter evenly on dough.
  2. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon evenly over buttered dough.
  3. Roll up dough.
  4. Slice roll into 1 inch slices.
  5. Place on greased pan.
  6. Let rise until double in size.
  7. Bake 10 minutes at 400°F.


  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (I excluded this)


  1. Combine all ingredients
  2. Beat until fluffy.
  3. When rolls are hot, spread lots of icing on them.
